Will Fred M. Fisher was born February 24, 1859, and died May 27, 1924. His earlier years were spent in Wittenburg, Germany. He came to America when twenty one years of age and became a citizen of this country. First living in Nashville, Tennessee, and later in Hendersonville, Tennessee, at the time of his death. He was a member of the Lutheran Church from boyhood. He was married on March 6, 1894 to Miss Georgia Ferguson. To this union were born five boys, three of which are still living, twins having died in infancy. He is survived by his wife and three sons, William C., a member of the firm of Fisher and Dunn, Hendersonville, Otto F., a prosperous young farmer of Hendersonville, and Karl M. an employee of D. Y. Johnson Stone Co., Nashville. Impressive funeral services were held at the home by the Rev. Gernert, followed by interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The large assembly of relatives and friends, also the beautiful floral offerings attest to the esteem in which this man was held.
