Funeral services for Guil Hardin, 65, farmer and member of a pioneer family of this county, were conducted Monday at the home of his son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Redfern (Redferrin) in Robertson County.  Burial was in the Hardin family burying ground near here.

His body was found Saturday morning near his home in Robertson County.  It was thought that he died sometime Friday night from a heart attack.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Nettie Dickens Hardin; three daughters, Mrs. Eugene Redfern (Redferrin) of Robertson County, Mrs. Glennis Goostree of Ohio, and Mrs. Lonnie Hunter, of  Portland, three sons, Wallace and William of the U. S. Army, and James of Robertson County; five sisters, Mrs. Alice Russell, Mrs. Thaddeus Boren, Mrs. Delmer Rickle, Mrs. Fisher Street, and Mrs. Frank Colley, all of this section, four brothers, Bub, Gus, Levi, and Clint Hardin, all of the Portland section.
