Ann Elizabeth Madeline "Lizzie" Ackerman Durrett was the daughter of Lucy W. M. Durrett and Hamilton H. Ackerman. She was born February 15, 1848 probably in New Roe, Allen County, Ky. She married first to Jesse Shannon on 14 January 1866 in Robertson Co., Tn.. They were divorced on 19 September 1867 in Robertson Co. She married second to Francis E. Durrett on October 9, 1868.
