RETIRED MERCHANT FOUND DEAD NEAR PORTLAND

Portland, June 14

The body of Frank Morris 70, retired merchant of Mulloy, was found this morning at 7:30 o'clock, swinging by a trace chain at his barn on Highway 31-W, five miles west of here.

Mr. Morris had been in broken health for sometime.

Squire Tom Briley of Cotton Town who held an inquest, gave the verdict of suicide.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ivey Merritt Morris; two daughters Mrs. Adolphus Groves, Hambleyten, and Mrs. Carl Sneed, also of Robertson county and one son, Ewing Morris of Mulloy.
