Aubrey Glenn Perdue was born April 30, 1931, died February 2, 1941, age nine years, nine months and two days. Glenn was not a strong child and for almost a year had been under the doctor's care. He was taken seriously ill last Friday. The following afternoon he was rushed to St. Thomas Hospital where he was called home to glory about three o'clock Sunday morning. Glenn was a good child, and loved by teachers, schoolmates and others with whom he came in contact. Glenn possessed one of those kind, cheerful, happy and thoughtful dispositions so admired by all. He was a child interested not only in his own personal welfare, but was anxious to contribute to the happiness of everyone. He was unusually intelligent, always ranking with highest in his class. He had been absent from school a year and has been mentioned and certainly missed every day. To the family we would say that your loss is heaven's gain. True it is Glenn is gone, but now you have a tie to the bright beyond that should bind the rest of the family closer together and also closer to the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who does all things well for those who do His will. Mr. E. Adkins. Lillian Adkins.
