Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Elizabeth "Bess" Hall, 85, of New Deal Rd., Cottontown, were held at Wilkinson and Wiseman Funeral Home in Portland at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 18. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery. She died Tuesday, April 16, 1996 at Tennessee Christian Hospital in Portland. A native of Sumner County, she was born Feb. 18, 1911 to Joe and Ruthie Conquest Parks.
