Mrs. Marie BURYSEK Family

The BURYSEK family ended up in Portland, TN. By chance. They were immigrating from Czechoslovakia to Parannah, Brazil and stopped in Portland to visit friend or relatives, liked the land and stayed.

MARIE BURYSEK - Tombstone lists her birth as 1851 - dd. 1920 in Portland. She is buried in Immanuel Cemetery.  Her death certificate has her birth as August 5, 1850, died January 6, 1920.  Her father's name was Josef Kozek, born in Austria and mother's name was Marie Panelka, born in Austria.  Marie's birthplace is listed as Austria.  Her son, Adolph, was the informant.
Her children were :

2. Joseph BURYSEK 1888- 1963 married Christia HRADEK
3. Mary BURYSEK 1882-1960 married Ignatz WOSTA
