Grandpa Hugh E. SARRETT, age 77yrs, got sick in 1952, and could no longer live alone on his own, much to
Dad & MaryAnn (Sarrett) DeVASHER complaints, my Mom had Grandpa Hugh move in to our small 2 bedroom house
on Kensington. She prepared a bed with a curtian across the view at the South end of our kitchen. He had very
little in his possions, one being this old desk. Upon his death in December 1954, it became the possession of
my Mother Lucille (Wilson) SARRETT, upon her death in September 1989 it became the possession of her 1st Son
Paul Junior.

It is intersting that Mom wrote on the back of this photo: "Grandpa Sarrett, 88yrs old died"

See: Dec 20, 1954. his death certificate [Informant Daughter MaryAnn] listed born Nov. 23, 1874, this would make him 80yrs
old not 88yrs.
(I was sleeping on the top bunk bed, located off the kitchen, Grandpa, was on the bottom bunk, he got up out of bed want went to
the bathroom, where he collapsed to the floor, I heard the thud, yelled for Mom, I was 13yrs old. (Last Photo of Grandpa!) ..prs)

She died of a "Heart Attack" 15 months later on Sep 29, 1987 at the age of 70yrs!
The 2 extra daughters, & 2 Grandchildren in my group were 1. Valire BRAZEL (Husband Mark) with
her 2 Children: Brad & Tara BRAZEL; and 2. Terry SOBZIN. [I treated these two girls as my daughters]..prs
