All four boys were living with them on the 1920 Census. They were listed as SERATT, but their name was SEABOLT.
Someone named WINTER with a child was living with them, but Was listed as non-related.
Ray SEABOLT lived with his half-sister Mrs. Vadeus (SERATT) after their parents died in 1969. In later years Vadeus put him (Ray) in a nursing home in Sallisaw, Sequoyah Co., OK. and he died their.

     a.) Joanna LASLEY, was left an orphan when she was very young. She was raised by a family named SWIMMER.
     b.) Before she married my great uncle Albert Seratt, (he was my grandmother's (Ida Luvenia Seratt's) brother. I remember him well),
Aunt Joanna was married previously to Stephen SEABOLT. She already had one child, Cecil Lasley, when she married him.
James Raymond Hicks' web site indicates that Cecil's father was George W. Seabolt. (I was also informed about this very exact same thing by the wife of one of Aunt Joanna's grandsons).
George Seabolt was a son of James Madison "Cussie" Seabolt and Ollie "Tah-youl-se-nah" Foster.

Tragic strikes agin when Samuel W. SERATT, dies in Feb. 1923, 2 months before, little Sammie W. SERATT, who was born in Sep. 1923.
Tragic happens for a thrid time when "Widow" Mrs. M. Ellen (Burgess) MORRIS,, marries for a third time, and this husband "Kills" her age 31yrs in May 1925.

REF:#003  [SFA-REF:#003] Richard Belding Gilbert, Writes in 2006:
  After Sam's first wife, Lucy Seabolt died, he married Mrs. Ellen (Burgess) MORRIS. (She had two children when they were married, named Carl and Hazel Morris). Sam and Ellen had two children together, Haskell and Sammie SERATT. Sam died shortly before Sammie was born. She was named Samuel Willis Seratt, after him, and was always known as "Sammie."

Mrs. Ellen (Burgess) MORRIS, SERATT remarried a 3rd time when Haskell and Sammie SERATT were very young. Her new husband killed her. She is buried next to her first husband, George Morris, in Maple Cemetery, Sequoyah County, Oklahoma.

The children went to live with her mother in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Her mother didn't know how to spell SERATT. She taught them to spell it "SECRAT." When she started them to school, that's how they spelled their name and did so for quite a few years. Only when they were older did they discover the real spelling of their name. (Information obtained from Patricia J. (Cates) Sutton, granddaughter of Martha Seratt Bunyard, sister of my grandma, Ida Luvenia Seratt Keen).

 Obituary ~ Jimmie Randal "Jim" SECRATT, 48yrs
      TAHLEQUAH - Jimmie "Jim" Randall SECRATT, age 48yrs, was born to Haskell and Verlie (Copeland) Secratt in Tahlequah on Sept. 26, 1958. Jim left his earthly home to be with his Heavenly Father on Nov. 15, 2006.
Jim was known as an "artist with a dozer." He loved cattle ranching, camping on the Illinois River, deer hunting and, most of all, spending time with family. He had a big smile and a big heart. He had friends all over the United States from his career in pipelining. He was known in that industry as "the best hoe hand on the line."
Jim was a good son, a dedicated father, and a loving brother. He was a "large" personality that, once you met him, you never forgot him. He was preceded in death by his father, Haskell Secratt, a sister, Martha "Susie" Secratt and a brother, Samuel.
He leaves behind a saddened family that includes his mother, Verlie Secratt;
