(1752-1753), p.188, July 24, 1753, cites a suit brought by
Willoughby Newton against Anthony3 MORGAN, executor. of Anthony2
MORGAN (cwh, so this must be our Anthony3 MORGAN in York, SC).
In 1755 (Ibid., O.B., 1754-1755, p.221), Anthony3 MORGAN was
appointed constable in the room of Lazarus Taylor. He probably
went across the mountains into Frederick Co. as there is no
Anthony3 MORGAN in Fauquier Co. deeds nor wills in NC near
Charlotte. (cwh, see Anthony3 MORGAN in York, SC 1790 census p.
28. Also note Bridges family from Prince William Co to "Buffalo
Creek", York Dist., SC. The Earl family from Westmoreland VA to
Frederick Co, and then to York Dist., SC. -- also Newton family
in Rutherfordton Co, NC from Westmoreland/Richmond Co, VA)
