Children are; Nancy, Elizabeth, Fanny, and Polly. Nancy Waters b c 1816 TN d 1912 m Adenijah (Edward) Thomas b c 1814 in Sevier Co. Elizabeth Waters m ? Ballard; Polly Waters m James Cowden. Nancy was Ezekiel's 2nd wife. There were 10 children from the two marriages including Hannah R b. c1853 m Bradford Huston Evans 9-16-1869. TN was not a state at the time of their birth so Ezekiel and Nancy could have been born in what was NC or anyplace else for that matter. Would love to make a connection with someone who is also researching this family or knows of them. "....Ezekie, John, and Enoch WATERS were in Knox Co., KY in 1810. (Ezekiel and Enoch each had a child born in KY)... "Ezekiel was living in Sevier Co in 1830... sold land in Blount in 1836 to an Edward DELOZIER of Macon Co., NC and described it as "where I did live..." "A daughter's death certificate indicates that Ezekiel's wife was Nancy MANESS (MANIS). Several MANISES were found in the Ellejoy area of Blount Co..." "Ezekiel and Nancy had two sons, Rily and John. My gggrandfather was Ezekiel Walters who lived in Caswell Cnty, NC, Pittsylvania Cnty, Va and Halifax Cnty, Va. These three counties are all right together and various members of the Walters clan crossed back and forth. He was dead in Pittsylvania Cnty by Jan 20, 1840. At the time of death he was married to Lydia Collie and their children were: John C Walters, Lovel Walters, Sarah Walters, Agnes Walters, William Walters, Joel Walters and James B Walters. I have not been able to find out who Ezekiel's parent's were although I have a ton of Walters research. The above information is definite as I have court records. Would love to talk with you about your Ezekiel, especially since it is spelled Waters in Halifax Cnty, VA and in Caswell Co, NC.
