Samuel R.'s parents moved from Bedford Co., TN. to Parker Co., TX
prior to 1856. (b. of 2nd son James Lemuel SERRATT ..prs)
Parker Co., TX was formed in 1855, from the larger Co's of
Bosque and Navarro. County Seat Weatherford, TX. 76086.
It is located in the Northeast part of the state; (just west of
Fort Worth, TX) Bounded with Jack & Wise Co's on the North;
Tarrant Co., on the East; Hood Co. on the South and Palo Pinto
Co. on the West.
