but no records show he ever enlisted. Although his older brother S.A.J. was in Col. Broyles's Co. "B"

Mr. A. P. MARR, who belonged to Company A, 11th Missouri, Parson's Brigade,
under Sterling Price, is now old and needy, and will appreciate hearing
from any of his war comrades who can testify to his services and thus
enable him to get a pension.

Mr. J.L. Havins, of Ranger, [Eastland Co.] Tex., Box 762, is trying to
locate some one who can testify to the service of Thomas W. SARRETT
in the 36th Georgia Regiment, Company B, as his widow is in need of a pension. Any information will be helpful.

The New Gordon Cemetery is on Cemetery Road in Gordon, Texas. 76453
Exit from Interstate Highway 20 onto Highway 193. Follow the signs to Gordon, 3 miles from the Interstate.
At the top of the hill, coming into Gordon, Cemetery Road is the first street to the right.
Turn right and go about 1/4 mile. The New Gordon Cemetery is on the left side
of the street. The Old Gordon Cemetery is about 1/2 mile further out on Cemetery Road,
also on the left side of the street.
