Wilson-Jackson Cemetery. .
.538 Q 29° 41.210 -95° 07.111 Houston, TX 6000 blk of SHWY 225; located inside the Shell Refinery Tank Farm which used to be the Wilson property. The gravestone (unknown about the remains) was moved from the Shell Chemical Plant and placed in Dow Park. I will do more research on this from the local library. The stone is located in a small, fenced area in Dow Park, Deer Park on E. San Augustine St behind the city hall, swimming pool, tennis/volleyball courts. The original gravesite was located inside the Shell Refinery Tank Farm which used to be the Wilson property in KEY Map grid 538G. |
