     ANTHONY9 BOWMAN  was born September 18, 1858 in Puslinch, Ontario, Canada1, and died March 1954 in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. He married THERESA OBRECHT 1880 in Puslinch, Ontario, Canada, daughter of ANTHONY OBRECHT and VICTORIA LETNER. She was born December 08, 1866 in Bruce County Ontario, and died March 13, 1938 in Puslinch Township, Ontario1.

Witnesses to the baptism were Anthony Steffler and Johanna Ochs.

Following the execution of his father's will, Anthony Bowman became the owner of Lot 28 Concession 7 in Puslinch Ontario Canada. He raised a Catholic family attending the Church in Morriston that was built by his uncle, Alexander Ochs. His mother, Fanny Bowman nee Steffler lived the rest of her years on the homestead. The family attended the Catholic Church in Freelton after the Morriston church was abandoned. Anthony was a musician as well as a farmer and would go out with the "Stumpers" and play the accordion. The family always made guests welcome.
