[NI091090] Elizabeth, or Grandma Betty, was always singing or humming, & almost always baking or cooking. She always smelled of Lillac water & cookie dough. Grandma was always feeding everybody, that was her way of making everything right with the world. She never drove, I don't think that she ever had a license, or had ever attempted to try. She didn't need to, Grampa took her where ever she had to go. She would chase us kids around with her false teeth. The faster we ran, & the more we screamed, the harder she laughed. She thought that it was about the funiest trick she could ever play. Grandma passed away May 30 1980, the Doctors all said that it was Heart Disease. She loved my Grandfather so much, that after his death, she ended up in a nrsg home. She just seemed to loose her zest for life. She d. 1 yr & 11 dys after Grandpa, of a broken heart. Cause of Death: Arterioscleroric Heart Disease Bur. Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion, Lake Co., IL. Jun 17 1931 graduated Osceola Twp Hi School.
