     Benjamin Burlingham was born circa 1748 in Cranston, Providence, Rhode Island. He was the son of Samuel Burlingham and Elizabeth Congdon.
     Between 1774 and 1779,Benjamin lived in Crum Elbow, Dutchess, New York.1,2
     Before 1777, Benjamin Burlingham married Jemima (Unknown) in.1
     Benjamin lived in Washington, Dutchess, New York.1
     Benjamin Burlingham appeared on the census of 1790 in Washington, Dutchess, New York.
     Benjamin Burlingham died before 14 March 1805 in Dutchess County, New York.1 The land sale of Benjamin's land order by the Dutchess County Surogate's Court states that the said Benjamin died intestate leaving 15 children and heirs.3 Benjamin's will was proved on 28 July 1807.

Nine Partners Precinct, Dutchess, New York, Benjamin was listed as a boundary on a deed next door to John BUTTS, Joseph BROWN, Peter MOSHER, Carr WILBUR, and Silas BELDEN.1
