     Samuel Burlingham was born on 16 September 1692 in Cranston, Providence, Rhode Island. He was the son of Thomas Burlingham and Martha Lippet.
     Circa 1715, Samuel Burlingham married Mary / Mercy Smith, daughter of John Smith III and Hannah Brown, in.
     Samuel Burlingham died on 20 March 1740 at the age of 47.

     Sarah Burlingham was the daughter of Benjamin Burlingham and Jemima (Unknown).1
     On 5 December 1784, Sarah Burlingham married Gideon Wilbur, son of Thomas Wilbor and Deborah Clossen, at First Stanford Baptist Church in Bangall, Dutchess County, New York, if the family history is correct...2
     On 5 December 1785, Sarah Burlingham married Gideon Wilbur, son of Thomas Wilbor and Deborah Clossen, at First Stanford Baptist Church in Bangall, Dutchess County, New York.3
     Sarah Wilbur died after 1829 in Rensselaer County, New York.2

This is based on the Wilburs of Nebraska. I am not sure that the Gideon that married Sarah Burlingham is the same Gideon that is the father of Thomas born in 1770 (father of Alanson). If Gideon born in 1739 married Sarah Burlingham then the birth dates of the children are incorrect. The pension papers do not list all the children listed in The Wilburs of Nebraska. Need more research.
