     Emily (Unknown) married Sidney Newell in.1
     Emily Newell and Sidney Newell appeared on the 1865 State Census of Humphrey, Cattaraugus, New York, enumerated 1 June 1865. Their daughter Amanda was listed as living with them, as well as their son Newton and Amanda Whitlock's children, Emily Whitlock, Caty Ann Whitlock and Almond Eugene Whitlock.1
     Emily Newell and Sidney Newell appeared on the 1875 State Census of Humphrey, Cattaraugus, New York, enumerated 1 June 1875, reporting their grand children, Emily Whitlock and Almond Eugene Whitlock as living with them.2
