     Alpha J Carpenter was born on 1 October 1893 in Flora, Wallowa, Oregon.1,3,2 She was the daughter of Alfred J. Carpenter and Martha A Packer.1,2

     Alpha J Carpenter appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Powhatan, Wallowa, Oregon in the household of her parents, Alfred J. Carpenter and Martha A Carpenter.1
     On 28 November 1912, Alpha J Carpenter married Walter L Buzzard in Wallowa County, Oregon.4 Alpha J Buzzard was mentioned in the obituary of Alfred J. Carpenter, as his daughter living in Enterprise, Oregon, on 12 December 1927 which printed in the Morning Oregon, circulated in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon.5
