     Barnett Chastain was born on 30 December 1814 Henry County, Kentucky.1,2 He was the son of George Chastain and Rebecca Staton.
     On 10 June 1834, Barnett Chastain married Cynthia Stark in.1
     Barnett Chastain and Cynthia Chastain appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Vernon, Washington, Indiana, enumerated 7 June 1880.2
     Barnett Chastain died on 31 July 1896 in Washington County, Indiana, at the age of 81.1
     Barnett was buried in August 1896 in the Old Union Cemetery, located in Vernon, Washington County, Iowa .1

     Elizabeth Chastain was born on 21 January 1803 Franklin County, Virginia.1 She was the daughter of George Chastain and Rebecca Staton.
     On 29 November 1824, Elizabeth Chastain married Henry Payne Ingle in Henry County County, Kentucky.1
     Elizabeth Chastain died on 7 March 1856 in Coles County, Illinois, at the age of 53.1

     George Chastain was born in 1766.1 He was the son of William Chastain and Sarah Barnett.
     On 13 August 1791, George Chastain married Rebecca Staton in Franklin County County, Virginia.1
     George Chastain died on 28 May 1854 in Vernon, Washington, Indiana.1

     George Chastain has also been reported as being born in 1801 in Kentucky.1 He was born in 1802 Franklin County, Virginia.2 He was the son of George Chastain and Rebecca Staton.
     On 27 May 1825, George Chastain married Perlina Staton in Oldham County County, Kentucky.2
     George Chastain and Perlina Chastain appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Vernon, Washington, Indiana, enumerated 7 June 1880.1
     George Chastain died on 9 July 1882 in Vernon, Washington, Indiana.2
     George was buried in the Wimer Cemetery.2
