     Pierre Jacob Chastain died in King William County, Virginia. He was born in 1663 France.
     In 1701, Pierre Jacob Chastain married Anne Soblette, daughter of Abraham Soblette and Susannah Du Puy, in Goochland County County, Virginia.

     Sarah Chastain was born on 8 August 1797 Franklin County, Virginia.1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of George Chastain and Rebecca Staton.
     On 5 October 1815, Sally Chastain married an unknown person , son of Solomon Bond and Anna Allen, in Henry County County, Kentucky.1,4,5
     Sarah Bond, was probably included as a white female, age forty to forty-nine years old, in John Bond's household on the 1840 Census enumerated in Van Buren County, Iowa.3

     Sarah Bond and John Bond appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of in Oskaloosa, Mahaska, Iowa, enumerated 7 August 1850, reporting John as a farmer with real estate valued at $1,000. Their daughter Susan Ione was listed as living with them.2
     Sarah Bond and her husband, John appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Fairfield Precinct, Marion, Oregon, in the household of Harmon C Davis and Susan Ione Davis, their daughter.6
     Sarah Chastain died in 1875 in Lane County, Oregon.1
     Sarah was buried in 1875 in the Dayton Cemetery, located in Dayton, Columbia County, Washington . Her age is listed as 78.1,7

     Susan A. Chastain married Nealy Ingle in. Susan A. Chastain was born in 1805 Henry County, Kentucky.1 She was the daughter of George Chastain and Rebecca Staton.
     Susan A. Chastain died in August 1863.1
     Susan was buried in August 1863 in Vandalia, Jasper, Iowa.1

     William Chastain.1 He was born in 1794 Franklin County, Virginia. He was the son of George Chastain and Rebecca Staton.
     On 22 July 1825, William Chastain married Eliza Fisher in Washington County County, Indiana.1
     William Chastain died on 28 March 1832 in Edgar County, Illinois.
