     Josiah Clossen Deborah was dau. of Nathan2 (Josiah1) Closson. Josiah1 was a soldier in King Philip's War, and owned land in the southeast part of Little Compton in the Quicksand Pond areas.1,2 He was born in 1655.3,4 He was the son of Daniel Clossen and Elizabeth (Unknown).
     On 10 March 1678/79, Josiah Clossen married Mary Williamson, daughter of Timothy Williamson and Mary Howland, in Marshfield, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, Marriage is recorded as Josiah Slawson...3,1,4,5
