     Clarence "Klas Hjalmar" Dahlstrom was born on 7 March 1908 in Portland, Multnomah, Oregon, his parents were residing at 653 Thurman Street.3,4,1,5 He was the son of Fredrik Albin Dahlström and Anna Forsgren.1,3
     Clarence "Klas Hjalmar" Dahlstrom appeared between 1910 and 1924 on the Husförhörslägder (Household Examination / Clerical Survey) of Mo, Ytterlännäs, Västernorrland, Ångermanland, Sweden in the household of his parents, Fredrik Albin Dahlström and Anna Forsgren.5
     Clarence "Klas Hjalmar" Dahlstrom immigrated to Mo, Ytterlännäs, Västernorrland, Sweden, with his parents, Fredrik Albin Dahlström and Anna Forsgren arriving on 13 November 1915, from the United States.6 Clarence "Klas Hjalmar" Dahlstrom emigrated with Fredrik Albin Dahlström and Anna Forsgren on 5 May 1916 from Mo, Ytterlännäs, Vasternorland, Sweden.6
     Clarence "Klas Hjalmar" Dahlstrom immigrated to 724 Wilson Street, Portland, Multnomah, Oregon, with his parents, Fredrik and Anna Dahlstrom, aboard the Kristianiafjord, arriving on 29 May 1916, at the Port of New York, New York. The family came through Ellis Island after leaving from Bergen, Norway on May 14, 1916 to join his sister, Mrs Anna Hogland in Portland.7
     Clarence "Klas Hjalmar" Dahlstrom appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Portland, Multnomah, Oregon in the household of his parents, Fredrik Albin Dahlström and Anna Dahlstrom.8 Clarence "Klas Hjalmar" Dahlstrom was naturalized with Fredrik Albin Dahlström and Anna Dahlstrom in 724 Wilson Street, Portland, Multnomah, Oregon, on 27 December 1921; in the US District Court of Oregon.9
     On 8 June 1929, Clarence "Klas Hjalmar" Dahlstrom married Muriel Gladys Bishop, daughter of Roy Elmer "Pop" Bishop and Myrtle A. Carpenter, in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, Clarence was living at 267 North 21st (Portland Oregon) and Muriel was living at 908 South Jersey (Portland Oregon)..10,11,12,1
     Clarence "Klas Hjalmar" Dahlstrom and Muriel Gladys Dahlstrom appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Portland, Multnomah, Oregon, at 1432 E. 19th, enumerated 10 April 1930, reporting Clarence as a clerk in a steel foundry and Muriel as a sales lady in a department store.13
     Clarence "Klas Hjalmar" Dahlstrom and Muriel Gladys Dahlstrom appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Spruce Precinct, Lincoln, Oregon, at State Highway 26, enumerated 12 April 1940, reporting Clarence owning a home valued at $500 and working as an Electrician.. Their children James Stephen and Ronald Bruce were listed as living with them.14
     On 17 December 1970, Clarence "Klas Hjalmar" Dahlstrom was living at 1329 S.E. Harney, in Portland, Multnomah, Oregon, when he died at the age of 62, leaving Muriel as his surviving spouse.1,15
     Clarence "Klas Hjalmar" Dahlstrom was interred on 19 December 1970 in the Portland Mausoleum, located in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon .1
