     John Hardin Dugger was born on 28 January 1865, Kentucky.1,2,3,4 He was the son of John W Dugger and Catherine Malinda Bean.

     John Hardin Dugger appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Cass, Douglas, Missouri in the household of his parents, John W Dugger and Julie Ann Dugger.5
     On 3 November 1894, John Hardin Dugger married Ada Williams in.6,7

     John W Dugger was born on 15 December 1829 Ashe County, North Carolina, his pension lists his birthplace as Fentress County TN.2,3,4,5,6 He was the son of Henry Dugger and Sarah Green.1
     John W Dugger was probably included as a white male, age under 4, in Henry Dugger's household on the 1830 Census enumerated in Ashe County, North Carolina.7
     John W Dugger was probably included as a white male, age five to nine, in Henry Dugger's household on the 1840 Census enumerated in 5 th District, Bledsoe, Tennessee.8
     On 7 December 1848, John W Dugger married Mary H Rector, daughter of (Unknown) Rector and Sarah (Unknown), in White County, Tennessee.9,6,10
     John W Dugger and Mary H Dugger appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of District 10, White, Tennessee, enumerated 1 October 1850, reporting his occupation as a farmer. Their daughter Sarah E. was listed as living with them, the family is living next door to John'sparents, Henry and Sarah Dugger.11
     On 8 December 1853, John W Dugger married Catherine Malinda Bean in White County County, Tennessee, they were married by John Madewwell, Esq...12,13,10,14
     John W Dugger and Catherine Malinda Dugger appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of in 3 rd District, Cumberland, Tennessee, enumerated 15 June 1860, reporting John's occupation as a farmer. Their children George William, Marilda Frances, Emily Jane, Elizabeth Ann and David M were listed as living with them, living near the family is John's parents, Henry and Sarah Dugger.15 He began military service on 8 July 1863 in Kentucky. Tombstone states that his Civil War unit is the 13th Kentucky Cavalry. Civil War Discharge papers state Company B 13th Reg Kentucky.13



John W Dugger ended his military service on 7 January 1865 in Camp Nelson, Kentucky.13
     John W Dugger and Catherine Malinda Dugger appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of in District Number 1, Macon, Tennessee, enumerated 1 June 1870, reporting John's occupation as a Blacksmith. Their children George William, Elizabeth Ann, Emily Jane, Marilda Frances, Terressa, John Hardin, Amanda C and Jaspar N were listed as living with them.16
     On 12 August 1875, John W Dugger married Julie Ann Clinton, daughter of William Clinton and Elizabeth Freeman, in Douglas County County, Missouri.17,13,18
     John W Dugger and Julie Ann Dugger appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Cass, Douglas, Missouri, enumerated 26 June 1880 reporting John's occupation as a Farmer. Their children Terressa, John Hardin, Jaspar N, Willis Monroe and Martha E were listed as living with them, as well as Julie's mother, Elizabeth Clinton and Julie's sister, Mary Clinton.19
     John W Dugger and Julie Ann Dugger appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Sydney Precinct, Marion, Oregon, enumerated 27 June 1900, reporting John's occupation as a Farmer. Their daughter Harriet Bell was listed as living with them.20
     John W Dugger and Julie Ann Dugger appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Abernathy, Clackamas, Oregon, on Front Street, enumerated 22 April 1910, reporting John's occupation as a Farmer.21
     On 2 February 1914, John W Dugger was living in Oregon City, Clackamas, Oregon, when he died at the age of 84. The information on the death certificate being supplied by George William Dugger, reported his occupation as a Farmer.22,13,23
     John was buried on Wednesday, 4 February 1914 in the Mt View Cemetery, located in Oregon City, Clackamas County, Oregon . John W. Dugger buried in the Veteran's Section of the Cemetery. (First addition Block 81 lot 5.)13,24
