     William Dugger was born on 3 March 1750 Brunswick County, Virginia.1 He was the son of William Dugger and Martha (Unknown).
     Circa 1768, William Dugger married Olivia Ushers in Pittsylvania County County, Virginia.1
     On 9 August 1791, William Dugger married Nancy Miller in Washington County County, Tennessee.1
     On 8 April 1809, William Dugger married Nancy Ann Brown in Carter County County, Tennessee.1
     William Dugger died on 18 January 1839 in Carter County, Tennessee, at the age of 88.1

     William Dugger was born in 1865, Kentucky.1 He was the son of Enoch Arden Dugger and Elizabeth (Unknown).1
     William Dugger appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of in Knight Prairie, Hamilton, Illinois, in the household of his parents, Enoch Arden Dugger and Elizabeth Dugger.1

     William H Dugger was born on 29 June 1814 Ashe County, North Carolina.2 He was the son of David B Dugger and Margaret Ernest.1
     On 2 May 1835, William H Dugger married Eunice Munday in Ashe County County, North Carolina.2,1
     William H Dugger died on 30 May 1899 in Watauga County, North Carolina, at the age of 84.2
     William was buried after 30 May 1899 in the Howell Cemetery, located in Valle Crucis, Watauga County, North Carolina .2

     Willis Monroe Dugger was born on 9 December 1871 in Nashville, Davidson, Tennessee.2,3,4 He was the son of John W Dugger and Catherine Malinda Bean.1,2
     Willis Monroe Dugger appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Cass, Douglas, Missouri in the household of his parents, John W Dugger and Julie Ann Dugger.5
     On 19 January 1898, Willis Monroe Dugger married Elizabeth Hattie "Lizzie" Murphy, daughter of Preston Holcombe Murphy and Sarah A. Bond, in Polk County, Oregon, They were married at the home of Lizzie's Father, Preston H Murphy...6,4
     Willis Monroe Dugger and Elizabeth Hattie "Lizzie" Murphy appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Independence, Polk, Oregon, enumerated 5 June 1900, reporting Willis's occupation as a tile ditcher. Their daughter Elvera was listed as living with them.7
     Willis Monroe Dugger and Elizabeth Hattie "Lizzie" Dugger appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Independence, Polk, Oregon, at "4" Street, enumerated 6 June 1910, reporting Willis's occupation as a farmer and renting the home. Their children Elvera, Glen Monroe, Areta, Thelma Velma and Cecil Willard were listed as living with them.8
     Willis Monroe Dugger and Elizabeth Hattie "Lizzie" Dugger appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Croisan Precint, Marion, Oregon, enumerated 6 January 1920, reporting Willis's occupation as a Grain Farmer. Their children Elvera, Glen Monroe, Areta, Thelma Velma, Cecil Willard, Otto Francis, Roscoe Wallace and Preston H. were listed as living with them.9
     On 19 January 1925, Willis Monroe Dugger was living in Monmouth, Polk, Oregon, when he died at the age of 53, leaving Elizabeth as his surviving spouse.1,10,4
     Willis was buried on Wednesday, 21 January 1925 in the I.O.O.F Cemetery (Hill Top Cemetery), located in Independence, Polk County, Oregon .1
     In the obituary of Elizabeth Hattie "Lizzie" Murphy dated before 2 July 1949 which printed in the Statesman, circulated in Salem, Marion County, Oregon, Willis Monroe Dugger was mentioned as her husband.11
