On 5 May 1853, Mary Elizabeth Freer married Elijah Rich, son of Thomas Rich and Prudence Kinny, in Delton, Sauk County, Wisconsin by C. L. Fisher, at the residence of her parents Jacob and Jane Freer. The marriage record dated 05 May 1853, reports that Mary's occupation was a farmer residing in Dell Praire Wisconsin.3,1
