     Rachel Gifford was born on 30 March 1727 in Washington, Dutchess, New York.1,2 She was the daughter of Enos Gifford and Phillis Allen.
     On 2 February 1750/51, Rachel Gifford married Esek Wilbor, son of Samuel Wilbore and Elizabeth Carr, in Little Compton, Newport County, Rhode Island.3,2
     Rachel Wilbor died on 5 March 1763 in Washington, Dutchess, New York, at the age of 35.1,2
