     Elizabeth Griffin was born on 25 December 1752.1 She was the daughter of Edward Griffin and Millicent Taylor.
     In 1770, Elizabeth Griffin married Thomas Wilbur Jr., son of Thomas Wilbor and Deborah Clossen, in Washington, Dutchess County, New York.2,1,3

     On 25 December 1856, Griffith C. Griffith married Sarah Jane Terry, daughter of Elisha Terry and Amy Hawley, in Cattaraugus County County, New York, History lists Sarah's maiden name as Taylor...1,3,2
     Griffith C. Griffith and Sarah Jane Griffith appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Oshkosh, Winnebago, Wisconsin, enumerated 27 June 1860. Their son Willis Terry was listed as living with them.4
     Griffith C. Griffith and Sarah Jane Griffith appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Oshkosh, Winnebago, Wisconsin, enumerated 15 June 1870, reporting Griffith's first name as Christopher. Their children Willis Terry and Jennie Annie were listed as living with them, as well as a servant named Betha Daufilco age 17 born in Prussia.5
