[p.312] HENRY HOLLINGSWORTH, son of Valentine, came over from Ireland in 1683, in the Ship Lion,
as an indented servant to Robert Turner.–Penn'a Mag. VIII., 334. He was born on 7 September 1658 in Belleniskcrannel, Parish of Legoe, County Armagh, Ireland. He was the son of Valentine Hollingsworth and Ann Ree.
     Henry Hollingsworth died in 1721 in in Elkton, Cecil, Maryland.

     Henry Hollingsworth was born on 20 January 1804.1 He was the son of Abraham Hollingsworth and Eunice Steddom. On 8 November 1804, Abraham and Eunice were received as a Quaker at the Miami Monthly Meeting in in Miami, Warren County, Ohio, from Bush River Monthly Meeting, Newbury, South Carolina. The certificate was dated 25 August 1804.. Also received into the meeting were Martha Hollingsworth and Joseph Hollingsworth.1,2

     Isaac Hollingsworth was born on 19 September 1824 in Miami, Warren, Ohio.1 He was the son of Abraham Hollingsworth and Sarah Pidgeon.
     Isaac Hollingsworth and Samuel Hollingsworth appeared on the 1850 Federal Census Turtle Creek, Warren, Ohio, enumerated 21 October 1850., as well as Eunice Hollingsworth, their sister, Zebulon Hollingsworth and John Hollingsworth, their brothers. Also reported in the household is Julius Hollingsworth age 38 b. Ohio. (I'm not sure how he is related.)2
     Isaac Hollingsworth died on 10 March 1903 in in Montrose, Lee, Iowa, at the age of 78.

     Isaac Hollingsworth was born on 22 October 1859 in Montrose, Lee, Iowa.1,2 He was the son of Samuel Hollingsworth and Sarah Jones.
     Isaac Hollingsworth appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Marion, Lee, Iowa in the household of his parents, Samuel Hollingsworth and Sarah Hollingsworth.3 Isaac Hollingsworth stayed with his Uncle Isaac and Sarah Hollingsworth in Montrose Iowa when his father Samuel moved to Douglas Counnty Missouri in 1864. In 1867 he joined his Family in Douglas County.4
     Isaac Hollingsworth appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of in Folker, Clark, Missouri, in the household of his parents, Samuel Hollingsworth and Sarah Hollingsworth.5
     Isaac Hollingsworth appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Marion Township, Jasper, Missouri, enumerated 17 June 1880 living as a farm hand in the John C. Tees household..6
     On 9 February 1882, Isaac Hollingsworth married Martha Jane Allen, daughter of Randolph Allen and Elizabeth Hartley, in Douglas County County, Missouri.2
     Isaac Hollingsworth and Martha Jane Hollingsworth appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Harrison, Kootenai, Idaho, enumerated 28 April 1910, reporting Isaac's occupation as a Farmenr Their children Sarah Elizabeth, Elwood, William, Mattie Lucinda and Iva Ann were listed as living with them, as well as their daughter and her husband, Minnie and John H Justus.7
     Isaac Hollingsworth and Martha Jane Hollingsworth appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Carlin Precinct, Kootenai, Idaho, at Township 48, enumerated 8 January 1920.8
     Isaac Hollingsworth and Martha Jane Hollingsworth appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Carlin Bay Precinct, Kootenai, Idaho, enumerated 10 April 1930, reporting them living near their son, Jess Watson.9
     In the 29 December 1931 obituary of Sarah Elizabeth "Lizzie" Watson which printed in the Coeur d'Alene Press, circulated in Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai County, Idaho, Isaac Hollingsworth was listes as survivor.10
     Isaac Hollingsworth and Martha Jane Hollingsworth appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Coeur D'Alene, Kootenai, Idaho, enumerated 10 April 1940, reporting Isaac's occupation as a Farmer owning their $1,500 home. Their daughter Mattie was listed as living with them, listing her as a widow.11
     Isaac Hollingsworth died on 12 November 1944 in Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai, Idaho, at the age of 85.12,1,2
     Isaac Hollingsworth's obituary was Coeur d'Alene Press, Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai, Idaho, on 13 November 1944. He was survived by Minnie Viola Justus, Ora Francis Chadbourne, Elwood Hollingsworth, William Hollingsworth, Mattie Lucinda Tucker and Iva Ann Carns.1
Isaac's obituary states:
PIONEER DIES - Isaac Hollingsworth, 85, died yesterday afternoon at a local hospital. He was born in Montrose, Iowa, and came to Idaho in 1903. He lived at Carlin Bay, where he was a farmer, until 1936 when he moved to Coeur d'Alene. He made his home at 720 Indiana Avenue. Mr. Hollingsworth was an active member of the Pilgrm Holiness Church.
     He is survivied by two sons and four daughters, Ellwood of St Maries, William of Spokane, Mrs. Minnie Jstice of Coeur d'Alene, Mrs. Mattie Tucker of Seattle, Mrs. Ora Chadbourne and Mrs. Iva Carns of Carlin Bay; 26 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
     The Cassedy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.1


     Isaac was buried on Thursday, 16 November 1944 in the Forest Cemetary, located in Coeur D'Alene, Kootenai County, Idaho .13,14,1
