     Mary Howard was born on 8 November 1757 Dutchess County, New York. She was the daughter of Edward Howard and Phoebe Hart.
     Circa 1777, Mary Howard married Samuel Tripp, son of Timothy Tripp and Susannah Wilbor, in Quaker Hill, Dutchess County, New York.
     Mary Tripp died on 25 April 1846 in Washington, Dutchess, New York, at the age of 88.

     Rhoda Howe was born in 1819.2 She was the daughter of Jacob Howe and Lydia Bateman.
     Between 1831 and 1846, Rhoda Howe married John Foote Conrad, son of Johannes "John" Conrad and Catherine Foote, in, date is based on the birth of their first child...1,3,2
     Rhoda Conrad, was probably included as a white female, age twenty to twenty-nine years old, in John Foote Conrad's household on the 1840 Census enumerated in Portville, Cattaraugus, New York; also enumerated in the household are 1 unknown male under 5 years and 1 unknown female under 5 years.4

     Rhoda Conrad and John Foote Conrad appeared on the 1850 Federal Census Portville, Cattaraugus, New York, enumerated 15 October 1850. Their children Benjamin, Augusta, Monroe, Ann, Edith, Erastus and William Hawley were listed as living with them, as well as Orren HOWE, age 20, born in New York (is this Rhoda's brother?)5
     Rhoda Conrad and John Foote Conrad appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Gun Plains, Allegan, Michigan, enumerated 30 July 1870. Their children Augusta, Earnest and John A. were listed as living with them.6
     Rhoda Howe died on 4 January 1879 in Gun Plain, Allegan, Michigan.
     Rhoda was buried in the Woodside Cemetery, located in Gun Plain, Allegan County, Michigan .2
