     Jonathan Howland was born on 4 April 1782 in Beekman, Dutchess, New York.1 He was the son of Charles Howland and Lavina Mosher.
     On 13 October 1808, Jonathan Howland married Elizabeth Wilbur, daughter of Thomas Wilbur Jr. and Elizabeth Griffin, in Dutchess County County, New York.1
     Jonathan Howland died on 12 May 1850 in in Hyde Park, Dutchess, New York, at the age of 68.1

     Martha Howland was born on 24 April 1779 Dutchess County, New York.1,2 She was the daughter of Stephen Howland and Anna Reynolds.
     Martha Howland married William Wilbur, son of Enoch Wilbur and Phebe Church, in.1
     Martha Wilbur died on 29 January 1858 in Galway, Saratoga, New York, at the age of 78.2
     Martha was buried on Friday, 29 January 1858 in the Friends Cemetery, located in Galway, Saratoga County, New York .3,2
