Also listed in the household was her brother John.7 Anna Barbara Lanz emigrated with John E Lanz Sr and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Zulaf on 5 March 1912 from Laird, Saskatchewan, Canada.8
     Anna Barbara Lanz immigrated to Emerson, Minnesota, with her parents John and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Zulaf, aboard the Great Northern Railway arriving on 6 March 1912.8
     On 11 August 1913, Anna Barbara Lanz married Harvey Johannes Nispel in.3 Anna Barbara Lanz was naturalized with John E Lanz Sr and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Zulaf in Plymouth, Jefferson, Nebraska, on 8 January 1919.9,8
     Anna Barbara Nispel and Harvey Johannes Nispel appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Beatrice, Gage, Nebraska, at 906 No. 8th Steet, enumerated 8 January 1920. Their children Lavern H. and Darlene were listed as living with them.10
     Harvey Johannes Nispel and Anna Barbara Nispel appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Hastings, Adams, Nebraska, at 1603 West 9th, enumerated 17 April 1930. Their children Lavern H., Darlene and Betty Jean were listed as living with them.11
