     Circa 1846, Heinrich Lanz married Anna Marie Merlau in, date based on oldest child Elizabeth's birth in 1847..
     Henry Lanz and Anna Marie Lanz appeared on the 1861 Canadian Census of North Easthope, Perth, Ontario, Canada, enumerated 14 January 1861. Their children Catherina, John, Anna Catherine, Henry, Elizabeth and Mary were listed as living with them.2
     Heinrich Lanz was found on the 1865 tax list in North Easthope, Perth County, Ontario, Canada.3

Anna Marie Lanz, Catherina Knechtel, John Lanz, Anna Catherine Lanz, Henry Lanz, Emma Mohr, Elizabeth Paff, Minnie Lanz, Mary Koch, Henry Paff Sr. and Valentine Knechtel were mentioned in the will.6
     Heinrich Lanz died on 19 June 1893 in North Easthope, Perth County, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 72.7 Heinrich's will was proved on 15 July 1893 in North Easthope Township, Perth, Ontario.6
