     Daniel A Marshall was born in May 1840, Massachusetts.1
     On 17 January 1872, Daniel A Marshall married Sylvia Liza "Eliza" Conrad, daughter of Daniel Conrad and Mary Ann Hawley, in Olean, Cattaraugus County, New York.2
     Daniel A Marshall and Sylvia Liza "Eliza" Marshall appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Bay City, Bay, Michigan, at Jackson Street, enumerated 30 June 1880. Their son Charles was listed as living with them, as well as his wife's mother, Mary Ann Conrad.3 On the 1900 census residing at 1120 Madison, in in Bay City, Bay County, Michigan, an unknown person was listed as the head of the family Also included in the household: Charles Marshall.4
     Daniel A Marshall died between 1900 and 1910 in Michigan.4,5

     Joseph L. Marshall was born in 1820, Kentucky, based on 1880 Census.
     On 30 April 1850, Joseph L. Marshall married Susan Jane Marshall, daughter of John Ecles Murphy and Frances Mary Wright "Franky" Doughty, in Warren County County, Illinois.1

     Robert N. Marshall and Susan Jane Murphy were also reported as being married on 6 October 1847 in Warren County, Illinois. Ancestry.com lists the marriage date as 24 Feb 1848.1,2
     On 24 February 1848, Robert N. Marshall married Susan Jane Murphy, daughter of John Ecles Murphy and Frances Mary Wright "Franky" Doughty, in Warren County County, Illinois.3,4
