     George Bradley Morey was born on 8 November 1918 in Baraboo, Sauk, Wisconsin.1 He was the son of Frederick Eugene "Fred" Morey and Jessie Juanita Prentice.
     George Bradley Morey appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Baraboo, Sauk, Wisconsin in the household of his parents, Frederick Eugene "Fred" Morey and Jessie Juanita Morey.2
     George Bradley Morey appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Baraboo, Sauk, Wisconsin in the household of his parents, Frederick Eugene "Fred" Morey and Jessie Juanita Morey, George is listed several lines ahead of his parents. He is listed with the same househould # and Family # with an unknown age.3
     In the 17 January 1951 obituary of Frederick Eugene "Fred" Morey which printed in the Baraboo News Republic, circulated in Baraboo, Sauk County, Wisconsin, George Bradley Morey was listes as survivor.4
     George Bradley Morey's obituary was Baraboo, Sauk, Wisconsin, on 25 March 2002.1
     George Bradley Morey died on 25 March 2002 in Winnetka, Cook, Illinois, at the age of 83.1
George's obituary states:
George Bradley Morey, 84, passed away on March 25, 2002. The youngest of four children, he was born in 1918 and raised in Baraboo, son of Fred and Jessie (Prentice) Morey. Fred Morey was founder and bandleader of the Legion Band for many years during the 1930s and 1940s. He was instrumental in establishing and supporting the Zoo at Oschner Park as well as the Municipal Outdoor Pool. The athletic field at the Baraboo High School was donated by Fred Morey, also. George, better known as Brad, married Eleanor Capener of Breezy Hill Farm and when the marriage ended in 1939 he left Baraboo for Chicago and played drums with various jazz bands all his adult life, into his 70s. He was associated with big band leader Stan Kenton, writing many of the arrangements recorded by that band, and arranged musical charts for many other bands as well, over the years. Brad married twice more, both of which ended in divorce. He is survived by four adult children: Janice Larvin, George Morey, Keith Morey and Collette Morey, as well as five grandchildren. Brad died of natural causes, was cremated and no services were held, at his request.1


     George was buried after 25 March 2002 in the Walnut Hill Cemetery, located in Baraboo, Sauk County, Wisconsin . In 2002, the ashes of Fred and Jessie's son George were laid to rest in the Morey Plot. Buried next to him parentr Fred E. Morey & Jessie J. (PRENTICE0; grandmother Caroline MOREY (CRUM) and Fred's first wife Bertha E. (BURT).5

     George Bradley Morey was born between 1836 and 1841, Michigan.2,4 He was the son of Hazzard Morey and Clarissa "Carrie" Barnes.2,3
     George Bradley Morey appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Sharon, Washtenaw, Michigan in the household of his mother Clarissa Morey.2
     George Bradley Morey appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Manchester, Washtenaw, Michigan, in the household of Eli B. Morey and Elizabeth Morey, his brother and sister-in-law, as well as his mother, Clarissa Morey, sister, Marilla C. Morey and Hannah Morey (possibly his grand mother.)4
     Between 1861 and 1866, George Bradley Morey married Caroline Amanda Cramb, daughter of Peter Cramb and Sarah Keener, in.5
     George Bradley Morey died between 1876 and 1878 in Amelia County, Virginia.6,7

     Hazzard Morey married Clarissa "Carrie" Barnes in New York.1
     Hazzard Morey was listed as the head of a family on the 1840 U.S. Federal Census enumerated in Washtenaw County, Michigan. Based on ages, it is possible the following were also living in the household, Eli B. Morey, a white male, age newborn to 4 years old, Adeline L. Morey, a white female, age newborn to 4 years old, Clarissa Morey, a white female, age thirty to thirty-nine years old, also living in the household is unknown male age 15 - 20.5
     Hazzard Morey died on 17 May 1847 in Sharon, Washtenaw, Michigan. At the time of his death, his wife, Clarissa was pregnant with their daughter, Marilla.2
     Hazzard was buried in the Old Sharon Township Cemetery, located in Sharon, Washtenaw County, Michigan .6,2
