     Elizabeth Ann Hawley and Norman Hawley appeared on the 1850 Federal Census in Franklinville, Cattaraugus County, New York, enumerated 24 July 1850. Their children William and John were listed as living with them, as well as Norman's nephew, William Riley Terry.4
     Elizabeth Ann Hawley and Norman Hawley appeared on the 1855 State Census Franklinville, Cattaraugus, New York, enumerated 14 June 1855, reporting Norman as a farmer owning land and living in Franklinville for 12 years. Their children William, John, Olean and Viola were listed as living with them.2
     Elizabeth Ann Hawley and Norman Hawley appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Ischua, Cattaraugus, New York, enumerated 14 June 1860. Their children William, John, Olean, Viola, Loe and Melvin were listed as living with them.3
     Elizabeth Ann Hawley and Norman Hawley appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Winneconne, Winnebago, Wisconsin, enumerated 30 June 1870. Their children William, John, Melvin, Viola, Loe and Phidelis were listed as living with them.5
     Elizabeth Ann "Betsey" Moyer appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Irvington, Kossuth, Iowa, enumerated 15 July 1870, reporting Elizabeth a second time. (Why is she reported in Iowa as well as Wisconsin?).6
     Elizabeth Ann Hawley and Norman Hawley appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Winneconne, Winnebago, Wisconsin, enumerated 10 June 1880 Their children William, Melvin, Phidelis and Viola were listed as living with them, as well as her children, Jenney Ellis, Perley M. Ellis and Ida Anna Ellis The children are Viola's even though Viola is listed as married her surname is HAWLEY. Did the enumerator just assume that her name was HAWLEY? Did Camp Edward Ellis die?7
     Elizabeth Ann "Betsey" Moyer died between 1881 and 1900 in Omra Township, Winnebago, Wisconsin.8
