     Henderson Warren Murphy was born on 3 February 1835 Warren County, Illinois.1,2,3,4 He was the son of John Ecles Murphy and Frances Mary Wright "Franky" Doughty.
     Henderson Warren Murphy appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of in District 26, Warren, Illinois in the household of his parents, John Ecles Murphy and Frances Mary Wright Murphy.4
Henderson came to Oregon in 1852 via a wagon train. He and Rebecca, his wife, were members of the Monmouth Church. Henderson was also a member of the board of trustees of Christian College.2


     On 18 November 1863, Henderson Warren Murphy married Rebecca Lucretia Davidson, daughter of Henry Davidson and Sarah Montgomery, in.2,3,5,6
     Henderson Warren Murphy and Rebecca Lucretia Murphy appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Lebanon, Linn, Oregon, enumerated 25 April 1910, reporting that Rebecca had 7 children.6

     Herbert B Murphy was born in August 1884, Oregon.1 He was the son of Preston Holcombe Murphy and Sarah A. Bond.
     Herbert B Murphy appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Independence, Polk, Oregon in the household of his parents, Preston Holcombe Murphy and Sarah A. Murphy.2
     Herbert B Murphy died on 24 December 1913 in Umatilla County, Oregon, at the age of 29.3

     On 24 August 1819, Hosea Murphy married Sarah W Haley, daughter of Henry Haley and Nancy Rivers, in Warren County County, Kentucky.2
