Amanda Whitlock appeared on the 1865 State Census of Humphrey, Cattaraugus, New York in the household of her parents, Sidney Newell and Emily Newell, as well as her children, Emily Whitlock, Caty Ann Whitlock and Almond Eugene Whitlock.2
On 16 December 1866 in New York, Amanda Whitlock applied for the pension of Theodore Whitlock, her deceased husband. , application # 139419, certificate # 98986.3
Amanda Whitlock died on 30 August 1868 in Humphrey, Cattaraugus, New York.4
