     Desiree Northrup was the daughter of Samuel Northrup and Mary Benham.1
     On 1 August 1811, Desiree Northrup married George Bishop, son of Abiah Abiather Bishop and Ruth Wilbur, in.1
     Desiree Northrup died on 24 August 1840.1

     Jane Norton was born in January 1803 Tompkins County, New York county of birth is based on 1855 NY state census.1,2,3,4
     Circa 1820, Jane Norton married Thomas Whitlock, son of John Whitlock and Mary Morris, in Tompkins County County, New York.2,1,4,5
     Jane Whitlock, was probably included as a white female, age twenty to twenty-nine years old, in Thomas Whitlock's household on the 1830 Census enumerated in Ithaca, Tompkins, New York; also listed in the household is 1 female age 15 to 19 yrs.6
     Jane Whitlock, was probably included as a white female, age thirty to thirty-nine years old, in Thomas Whitlock's household on the 1840 Census enumerated in Hinsdale, Cattaraugus, New York.7
     Jane Whitlock and Thomas Whitlock appeared on the 1850 Federal Census Rice, Cattaraugus, New York, enumerated 20 October 1850. Their children Morris, James, Anna, Rachel and Jane were listed as living with them, living near Daniel Conrad, William Whitlock, Marshall Trowbridge, and William Trowbridge.1
     Jane Whitlock and Thomas Whitelock appeared on the 1855 State Census Ischua, Cattaraugus, New York, enumerated June 1855, reporting Thomas's occupation as a farmer with the home the family is living in is a Plank house on land owned by Thomas. Thomas & Jane have been living in Ischua for twenty years.. Their children Morris, James, Anna, Rachel and Jane were listed as living with them.8,3
     Jane Whitlock and Thomas Whitlock appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Ithaca, Tompkins, New York, enumerated 18 July 1860, reporting Thomas as a farmer. Their son James was listed as living with them, along with his wife, Ann E. Whitlock and their sons, Thomas Whitlock and William Whitlock.2
     Jane Whitlock and Thomas Whitlock appeared on the 1865 State Census of Humphrey, Cattaraugus, New York, enumerated 8 June 1865, reporting Thomas as a farmer. The reported that Thomas and Jane have only been married once and Jane had 10 Children. Their son James was listed as living with them, along with his wife Ann E. Whitlock and their sons, Thomas, Frank and William.9
     Jane Whitlock and Thomas Whitlock appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Humphrey, Cattaraugus, New York, enumerated 22 August 1870, reporting their son, Morris is living near by.10
     Jane Whitlock died on 26 September 1872 in Allegany, Cattaraugus, New York, at the age of 69.5
     Jane was buried in the 5 Mile Cemetery, located in Allegany, Cattaraugus County, New York .11,12,4
