     Martin Jewett Pierce was born on 22 January 1866 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.3,2,4,5 He was the son of William Jewett Pierce and Martina Markeson.2
     Between 1895 and 1896,Martin lived in 118 E. Bench or First, Baraboo, Sauk, Wisconsin.6
     On 23 February 1904, Martin Jewett Pierce married Ella Luella Morey, daughter of George Bradley Morey and Caroline Amanda Cramb, in Baraboo, Sauk County, Wisconsin, They were married in the Methodist Episcopal Church in Baraboo..2,1
     Martin Jewett Pierce and Ella Luella Pierce appeared on the 1905 State Census of Baraboo, Sauk, Wisconsin, at Ward 1, enumerated 1 June 1905, reporting the couple living next door to Fred, Ella's brother and Caroline Morey, Ella's mother.7
     Martin Jewett Pierce and Ella Luella Pierce appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Baraboo, Sauk, Wisconsin, at 319 4th Ave, enumerated 18 April 1910 Their children Margaret and Morey were listed as living with them.8
     Martin Jewett Pierce and Ella Luella Pierce appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Baraboo, Sauk, Wisconsin, at 118 6th Street, enumerated 2 January 1920. Their children Margaret and Morey were listed as living with them.9
     Martin Jewett Pierce and Ella Luella Pierce appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Baraboo, Sauk, Wisconsin, at 120 Warren Hotel, enumerated 24 April 1930. Their son Morey was listed as living with them.10
     Martin Jewett Pierce died in July 1937 in Baraboo, Sauk, Wisconsin, at the age of 71.4
     Martin was buried on Wednesday, 14 July 1937 in the Walnut Hill Cemetery, located in Baraboo, Sauk County, Wisconsin . S/w Ellen L. Pierce, Section D2.4

     Morey Pierce was born in 1907 in Baraboo, Sauk, Wisconsin.1 He was the son of Martin Jewett Pierce and Ella Luella Morey.1
     Morey Pierce appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Baraboo, Sauk, Wisconsin in the household of his parents, Martin Jewett Pierce and Ella Luella Pierce.1
     Morey Pierce appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Baraboo, Sauk, Wisconsin in the household of his parents, Martin Jewett Pierce and Ella Luella Pierce.2
     Morey Pierce appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Baraboo, Sauk, Wisconsin in the household of his parents, Martin Jewett Pierce and Ella Luella Pierce.3
     In the 17 January 1951 obituary of Frederick Eugene "Fred" Morey which printed in the Baraboo News Republic, circulated in Baraboo, Sauk County, Wisconsin, Morey Pierce was listes as survivor.4
     Morey Pierce died in February 1985 in Baraboo, Sauk, Wisconsin.5
