     Elisha Barton was born on 30 March 1791, New York.
     Elisha Barton appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of in Lyons, Wayne County, New York, enumerated 28 July 1870. His son William was listed as living with him, with his wife, Emma Louise Barton, as well as Lewis Barton age 34 born New York and Hittie Barton age 25 born in New York.2
     Elisha Barton died on 30 January 1880 in New York at the age of 88.
     Elisha Barton, 89, and Elias Brockway Reynolds appeared on the US Federal Mortality Schedule of 1880 Lyons, Wayne, New York. Living in the household of Family #463 (William Barton, who is E. B. Reynolds' son-in-law.) Elisha Barton a widowed farmer, who died in February of old age, at age 88. Elisha's parents were listed as being born in New York. Also listed as living in the household is E. B. Reynolds a widowed farmer, who died in April of Encephalitis head at the age 61. E. B. Reynolds' parents were listed as being born in New York. Both Elisha & Elias were attended by Dr. Battum.3

     Sarah Barton.1 She was born in 1748, Virginia.2 She was the daughter of Joshua Barton and Jane Dubart.
     After 1765, Sarah Barton married William Murphy, son of William Murphy and Mary Fouquoy, in Virginia.2

     William Barton was born on 27 February 1838 Wayne County, New York.2,3 He was the son of Elisha Barton.
     In 1861, William Barton married Emma Louise Reynolds, daughter of Elias Brockway Reynolds and Laura Wilbur, in.1,2,4
      William Barton appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of in Lyons, Wayne County, New York, in the household of his father Elisha Barton, and with his wife, Emma Louise Barton.5
     William Barton and Emma Louise Barton appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Lyons, Wayne, New York, enumerated 15 June 1880. Their son Albert E. was listed as living with them, as well as Emma's sister, Mary Alida Reynolds and hired hand Conrad Myers.6
     William Barton and Emma Louise Barton appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Lyons, Wayne, New York, enumerated 26 April 1910, living with them was Emma Louise's sister, Sarah Jane Reynolds.4
     William Barton died on 7 November 1910 in Lyons, Wayne, New York, at the age of 72.2
     William was buried after 7 November 1910 South Lyons Cemetery, Lyons, Wayne, New York.2
