Clarinda J. Whitlock and Alonzo Whitlock appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Ithaca, Tompkins, New York, at 209 South Avenue, enumerated 15 June 1880 reporting Alonzo as a Sash and Blind Maker. Their children Ida and Minnie were listed as living with them, as well as a servant, Hattie Howell and student, Winifred Shiras.5
