Elizabeth Stilwell was born on 19 August 1821 Oldham, Kentucky.1,2,3,4,5,6,7 She was the daughter of William Stilwell and Martha Ellan Hays.
On 1 March 1838, Elizabeth Stilwell married George Washington Bond, son of John Bond and Sarah Chastain, Edgar County, Illinois. George and Elizabeth were Cousins based on the U. S. Special Census for Deaf Family Marriages (dated 8 May 1890) statement made by Sarah A. Bond, their daughter.8,9,10
Elizabeth Bond, was probably included as a white female, age fifteen to nineteen years old, in George Washington Bond's household on the 1840 Census enumerated in Jefferson County, Iowa; also enumerated in the household is an unknown 20 to 29 year old male.6
Elizabeth Bond and George Washington Bond appeared on the 1850 Federal Census Marion County, Iowa, enumerated 16 September 1850, reporting George as a Missionary Baptist Preacher. Their children Sarah A., Willliam Harrison, Benjamin Franklin, Amanda J. and James Madison were listed as living with them.5
Elizabeth Bond and George Washington Bond appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Spencer Precinct, Lane, Oregon, enumerated 6 July 1860, reporting George as a Preacher of a Christian Church owning real estate with a value of $3,000 and personal property worth $400. Their children Sarah A., Willliam Harrison, Benjamin Franklin, Amanda J., James Madison, John D, Joseph A and George Washington were listed as living with them.3
Elizabeth Bond and George Washington Bond appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Springfield, Lane, Oregon, enumerated 30 June 1870, reporting George as a Preacher owning personal property valued at $425 and real estate valued at $4,000. Their children Sarah A., Amanda J., James Madison, John D, Joseph A, George Washington, Mary E and Charles L. were listed as living with them.2

DIED-At the residence of her son-in-law, Anderson Harlow, about two miles north of Eugene, this morning at 2 o'clock, from a paralytic stroke, Mrs. Geo. W. Bond, aged 73 years. The old lady was the widow of the late Rev. Bond, who was a Baptist minister well known throughout Oregon. She leaves several sons and daughters to mourn her (?). The funeral services will take place at the Baptist church, in this city Monday forenoon at 11 o'clock; internment in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.11
Elizabeth was buried circa 28 January 1895 in the Pioneer Cemetery, located in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon .4
