     Seymour Taft was born in 1819 in Freedom, Cattaraugus, New York.3,2,4 He was the son of Benjamin E. Taft and Lucretia Mc Intyre.2
     On 31 October 1841, Seymour Taft married Philura Hawley, daughter of William Hawley and Philura (Unknown), in Hinsdale, Cattaraugus County, New York, by the Rev. Mr. Bartlett..1,2,5
     Seymour Taft and Philura Taft appeared on the 1850 Federal Census Hinsdale, Cattaraugus, New York, enumerated 5 August 1850, reporting Seymour's occupation as a hooper. Their children Lucretia, William Thadeus and Lucy were listed as living with them, as well as Philura's brother, Benjamin Hawley.3
     After May 1853, Seymour Taft married Eudolpha Morrea (Unknown) in, based on the death of Philura..2
     Seymour Taft and Eudolpha Morrea Taft appeared on the 1855 State Census Ischua, Cattaraugus, New York, enumerated June 1855, reporting the family living in a plank house owning land. Their children Lucretia, William Thadeus, Lucy and Ella were listed as living with them.6
     Seymour Taft died after 1880 in Crawford County, Wisconsin. Family story stated by Dave Taft - Seymour owned a store and fell through the ice in the Wisconsin River and was never seen again.2

     William Thadeus Taft was born in 1845 Cattaraugus County, New York, county of birth is based on 1855 NY state census.1,2 He was the son of Seymour Taft and Philura Hawley.1
     William Thadeus Taft appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Hinsdale, Cattaraugus, New York in the household of his parents, Seymour Taft and Philura Taft.1
     William Thadeus Taft appeared on the 1855 State Census of Ischua, Cattaraugus, New York in the household of his parents, Seymour Taft and Eudolpha Morrea Taft.3

     Meribah Tallman was born on 12 October 1740 in Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island. She was the daughter of Silas Tallman and Katherine Hefferland.
     In 1768, Meribah Tallman married Benjamin Wilbor, son of Robert Wilbor and Freelove Deuel Duval, in Northeast, Dutchess County, New York.
     Meribah Wilbor died on 11 November 1829 in Nine Partners Precinct, Dutchess, New York, at the age of 89.
     Meribah was buried after 11 November 1829 Nine Partners Precinct, Dutchess, New York.
