Elizabeth Trim was baptized on 21 June 1740 in Bolton, Tolland, Connecticut, daughter of Moses Trim and Mehetable Pendal.1 Elizabeth Trim was the daughter of Moses Trim and Mehetable Pendal.1
Elizabeth Trim died in October 1763 in Lackawaxen, Pike, Pennsylvania, at the age of 23. At Lackawaxen, several members of Moses Trim's family were killed by the Delaware Indians in October of 1763.
Mehitable, his wife, their daughters and one son, were massacred in an Indian attack that followed the end of the French and Indian War. Moses survived. Ezra Trim, age 13, was kidnapped by the Indians, along with a brother who was later killed on the trail by the Indians when he could not keep up the pace of their journey through the wilderness lands of Pennsylvania and western New York.2

On 9 July 1860, Jefferson and Ann left Bonus, Boone County, Illinois and migrated to in Ponca, Dixon County, Nebraska. Accompaning them were Fred Elmer Wilbur, Clara Wilbur, Elmira Eisenlord "Myra" Wilbur and Ida Wilbur. Also with the family were Fred Elmer Wilbur, Clara Wilbur, Elmira Eisenlord "Myra" Wilbur and Ida Wilbur They came in an oxen drawn covered wagon. Because of the value that Jefferson placed on education he chose land in Ponca, even though the acreage cost $7.00 an acre vs $1.25 an acre for Government land, in order for his children would be able to attend school. The School in Ponca was the only school that was near the property. The fact that the family left in July 1860 could be the reason that his family is not found on the census of 1860. They may have been missed by the census taker in both Illinois and Nebraska.14

Ann is living in Lyons, Wayne County, New York.3
Ann Wilbur, was probably included as a white female, age twenty to twenty-nine years old, in Jefferson Wilbur's household on the 1855 Census enumerated in Spring, Boone County, Illinois.13
On 9 July 1860, Jefferson and Ann left Bonus, Boone County, Illinois and migrated to in Ponca, Dixon County, Nebraska. Accompaning them were Fred Elmer Wilbur, Clara Wilbur, Elmira Eisenlord "Myra" Wilbur and Ida Wilbur. Also with the family were Fred Elmer Wilbur, Clara Wilbur, Elmira Eisenlord "Myra" Wilbur and Ida Wilbur They came in an oxen drawn covered wagon. Because of the value that Jefferson placed on education he chose land in Ponca, even though the acreage cost $7.00 an acre vs $1.25 an acre for Government land, in order for his children would be able to attend school. The School in Ponca was the only school that was near the property. The fact that the family left in July 1860 could be the reason that his family is not found on the census of 1860. They may have been missed by the census taker in both Illinois and Nebraska.14
Elizabeth Wilbur and Jefferson Wilbur appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Ponca, Dixon, Nebraska, enumerated 15 July 1870, reporting Jefferson's occupation is a Farmer with Real Estate worth $2,800. Their children Fred Elmer, Clara, Ida, Frank, Charles, Minerva and Lee were listed as living with them, living near the family is Jefferson's cousin Russell Wilbur.8
Eliza Ann Wilbur and Jefferson Wilbur appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Ponca, Dixon, Nebraska, enumerated 16 June 1880 The census states that Jefferson is a Farmer. Their children Clara, Charles, Minerva and Lee were listed as living with them.9
Anna Wilbur and Jefferson Wilbur appeared on the 1885 State Census of Ponca, Dixon, Nebraska, enumerated 11 June 1885.10
Elizabeth Ann Wilbur died on 21 February 1900 in Ponca, Dixon, Nebraska, at the age of 67.15,16
Elizabeth Ann Trim's obituary was printed in the The Ponca Gazette, circulated in Ponca, Dixon County, Nebraska, on 22 February 1900.17
Elizabeth was buried on Saturday, 24 February 1900 in the Ponca Cemetery, located in Ponca, Dixon County, Nebraska .16,6
