     Samuel Tripp was born on 15 November 1751 in Dartmouth, Bristol, Massachusetts. He was the son of Timothy Tripp and Susannah Wilbor.
     Circa 1777, Samuel Tripp married Mary Howard, daughter of Edward Howard and Phoebe Hart, in Quaker Hill, Dutchess County, New York.
     Samuel Tripp died on 16 June 1832 in in Poughkeepsie, Dutchess, New York, at the age of 80.

     Timothy Tripp was born on 22 February 1716/17 in Dartmouth, Bristol, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of John Tripp and Rebecca Spooner.
     On 28 January 1741/42, Timothy Tripp married Susannah Wilbor, daughter of Samuel Wilbore and Elizabeth Carr, in Dutchess County County, New York.2,1
     Timothy Tripp died before 19 November 1774 in Nine Partners Precinct, Dutchess, New York.3
