     Calvin H. Bishop was born in 1827, New York.1 He was the son of Joshua Bishop and Mary Wilbur.
     Calvin H. Bishop, was probably included as a white male, age ten to fourteen years old, in Joshua Bishop's household on the 1830 Census enumerated in in Lyons, Wayne County, New York.2
     Calvin H. Bishop, was probably included as a white male, age ten to fourteen years old, in Joshua Bishop's household on the 1840 Census enumerated in Savannah, Wayne, New York; also enumerated in the household is 1 male age 20 - 29 years. Missing from the census is Harlo born in 1830.3
     Calvin H. Bishop appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Savannah, Wayne, New York in the household of his parents, Joshua Bishop and Mary Bishop.1
     Between 1850 and 1880, Calvin H. Bishop married Rachel Scott, daughter of Charlotte (Unknown), in.4
     On 2 June 1880 in Butler New York, Calvin H. Bishop was Epilepsy.4
     Calvin H. Bishop and Rachel Bishop appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Butler, Wayne, New York, enumerated 2 June 1880 Calvin is reported as suffering from Epilepsy.. Their children Rose and Ambrose were listed as living with them, as was Rachel's mother, Charlotte Scott. Living next door is Nellie Bishop age 28. She is living with the Thomas Law's family as a servant.4
