     Benjamin Whitelock was born on 28 March 1809 in Ithaca, Tompkins, New York.3,4,1,2 He was the son of John Whitlock and Mary Morris.2
     Benajah Whitlock was probably included as a white male, age under 10, in John Whitlock's household on the 1810 Census enumerated in Genoa, Cayuga, New York.5

     Before 1830, Benajah Whitlock married Catherine Ann "Katie A." Apgar in New York.4,1
     Benajah Whitlock and Catherine Ann "Katie A." Whitlock appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Humphrey, Cattaraugus, New York, enumerated 30 July 1860. Their children Helen M., John Benajmin and Phebe M. were listed as living with them, as well as her husband, Watson C. Leonard.6 Benajah was farmer on 30 July 1860 in Humphrey, Cattaraugus, New York.6 According to the census, Benajah's occupation was a farmer owning land.1
     Benajah Whitlock and Catherine Ann "Katie A." Whitlock appeared on the 1865 State Census of Humphrey, Cattaraugus, New York, enumerated 8 June 1865, reporting Benajah and Catherine have only been married once and have had 8 Children.. Their children Helen M., John Benajmin and Mary Jane were listed as living with them.7
On 30 August 1869 in New York, Benajah Whitlock, applied for the pension of his son, Spencer Whitlock application #179197, certificate #147308.8
     Benajah Whitlock and Catherine Ann "Katie A." Whitlock appeared on the 1875 State Census of Humphrey, Cattaraugus, New York, enumerated 1875. Their son John Benajmin was listed as living with them, as well as Grandson (John's son) Benna 3 8/12 born in Cattaraugus County NY.9
     Benajah Whitlock died on 2 March 1893 in in Sioux City, Woodbury, Iowa, at the age of 83.3,4

     Catherine Whitlock was born on 6 July 1830 in Ithaca, Tompkins, New York.1 She was the daughter of Morris Whitlock and Amy Ann (Unknown).1
     Catherine Whitlock was probably included as a white female, age under 4, in Morris Whitlock's household on the 1840 Census enumerated in Ithaca, Tompkins, New York.2
     Catherine Whitlock appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Ithaca, Tompkins, New York in the household of her parents, Morris Whitlock and Lucy Ann Whitlock.3
     Catherine Whitlock appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Ithaca, Tompkins, New York in the household of her parents, Morris Whitlock and Lucy Ann Whitlock.4
     Catherine Whitlock died on 25 December 1860 in Ithaca, Tompkins, New York, at the age of 30.1

     Caty Ann Whitlock was born in 1859 Steuben County, New York.1 She was the daughter of Theodore Whitlock and Amanda Newell.1
     Caty Ann Whitlock appeared on the 1865 State Census of Humphrey, Cattaraugus, New York, in the household of Sidney Newell and Emily Newell, her grandparents, as well as her mother, Amanda Whitlock.1
