     Susan Ione Bond was born on 10 April 1833, Illinois.1,2,3 She was the daughter of John Bond and Sarah Chastain.
     Susan Ione Bond was probably included as a white female, age five to nine, in John Bond's household on the 1840 Census enumerated in Van Buren County, Iowa.4
Susan Ione Bond appeared on the on 7 August 1850 census of in Oskaloosa, Mahaska, Iowa, in the household of his parents John Bond and Sarah Bond.2
     On 12 February 1851, Susan Ione Bond married Harmon C Davis in Mahaska County County, Iowa.1,5
     Susan Ione Davis and Harmon C Davis appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Fairfield Precinct, Marion, Oregon, enumerated 24 June 1860, as well as Susan's parents John and Sarah Bond.6
     Susan Ione Davis died on 9 August 1906 in in Dayton, Columbia, Washington, at the age of 73.1
     Susan was buried on Friday, 10 August 1906 in the Dayton Cemetery, located in Dayton, Columbia County, Washington .1

     William H. Bond was born on 23 July 1816 Henry County, Kentucky.1,2 He was the son of John Bond and Sarah Chastain.
     On 10 March 1842, William H. Bond married Hannah Hayes in Jefferson County County, Iowa.1,3,2
     William H. Bond died on 28 December 1864 in in Laton, Fresno, California, at the age of 48.1
